AIMS & SCOPE
The International Journal of Heat Exchangers (IJHEX) disseminates original research relating to all aspects and types of heat exchangers. The journal provides an important forum for those engaged in basic and applied heat exchanger or related research at universities and industry throughout the world.
The journal is devoted to fundamental investigations of transport of momentum and heat and other thermal and hydraulic phenomena, including theoretical/numerical modeling and experimental techniques. In addition, papers on new developments, applied topics, mechanical problems, and other general technical and scientific issues related to materials, manufacturing, and operation of heat exchangers are also considered. Review articles on progress in particular areas of importance to heat exchanger specialists are occasionally invited. All papers are reviewed.
INTENDED AUDIENCE
Academic and industrial researchers; engineers specializing in heat exchangers and heat and fluid flow, particularly those involved in the heating, cooling, power production, aerospace and automotive industries; manufacturers and industrial users of heat exchangers; and process engineers in chemical industries.
INDEXING AND ABSTRACTING
The International Journal of Heat Exchangers (IJHEX) is indexed and abstracted in: Mechanical and Transportation Engineering Abstracts (Cambridge Scientific), Civil Engineering Abstracts (Cambridge Scientific), EMBASE (Elsevier Bibliographic Databases), Compendex (Elsevier Bibliographic Databases), and ScienceDirect Navigator (Elsevier Bibliographic Databases).
