A "green lead" is the third-party recommendation of an author to the R.T. Edwards editorial team for the purpose of commissioning a specific book project. "Green Lead" is an historical term that relates to the color of the paper on which these recommendations were originally provided.
If, as a result of a green lead submission, a recommended book is acquired and published by R.T. Edwards, the sender of the first green lead which identified the specific author/project will receive a complimentary copy of the book upon its publication. Further, subject to the unilateral discretion of R.T. Edwards, Inc., a nominal payment may be awarded to the sender.
